Belek

Belek, 30 km east of Antalya, is a tourism district that has been developed to a plan since the 1980s — and it shows: wide boulevards, well-kept pine forest and large five-star properties lined along the shore. It has one of the highest concentrations of luxury accommodation in Türkiye.

What made Belek internationally known is golf. The area holds dozens of courses, most to championship standard and designed by world-famous architects. The mild winter climate keeps the golf season running almost year-round, drawing a steady flow of visitors from Europe in the colder months.

The beaches are fine sand with a gentle entry, which suits families. Belek is also an excellent base for day trips: Aspendos Theatre is 20 minutes away, Köprülü Canyon and its rafting routes about an hour, and Side around 30 minutes. Ideal if you want to balance resort time with exploring.
