Adrasan Koyu

South of Kemer, a quiet holiday spot in a sheltered bay between two headlands. Its mixed pebble-and-sand beach, clear water and pine forest backdrop make for a Mediterranean break away from the crowds.

Adrasan sits just south of Olympos and has escaped the large hotels. The settlement is made up of small guesthouses, family-run hotels and seafront restaurants, which gives the bay a calm, local character. Sheltered by headlands on both sides, the sea is usually very still.

The beach runs about two kilometres with a gentle entry, comfortable for families. The clarity of the water is what visitors praise most. Boats from the bay run day trips to Suluada — an island whose clear water has earned it comparisons with the Maldives — and this is the area's most popular excursion.

Adrasan is also a stop on the Lycian Way. Walks from here to Olympos or to the Gelidonya Lighthouse are moderate routes with sea views throughout. Evenings usually mean fresh fish at one of the seafront restaurants.
